A graduate of ESSEC (2006), he began his career in strategy consulting at Accenture and then Corporate Value Associates. Close to the world of orthopedics through his father Pierre Roussouly, a renowned orthopedic surgeon, he quickly identified the need to set up data management and planning tools in the field of spine surgery. He thus created SMAIO in 2009. He has remained involved in the KHEIRON project (connections between software and value-added implants) alongside Otsuka Medical Devices since the sale to the latter in 2016, while at the same time carrying out the development of an active robot for spine surgeries within the company Sylorus Robotics created in 2017. With the contribution of the latter's assets, he has, via his family holding company Sylorus Scientific, once again become the reference shareholder of the Company since June 30, 2021, and now combines the functions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SMAIO.
