ENERTIME, French company of "CleanTech" in the service of industrial energy efficiency and geothermal energy production takes stock of the 4 projects submitted by its subsidiary Energie Circulaire to the ADEME IndusEE call for projects closed on 20 October 2020.
The project rejected by ADEME in December 2020 has been technically and economically reworked. It is based on a co-development agreement signed with the site operator and a third party heat consumer. An official communication can be made as soon as the project has received a first validation from the local political authorities. This project is considered by Enertime as exemplary in terms of circular economy and territorial impact, with a concept that can be duplicated in France and abroad.
The second project, representing a total amount of 6,4 M €, concerns the installation of a 1,8 MW ORC coupled to an air compressor making it possible to transform waste heat into compressed air for the needs of a glassworks of the Verallia Group in Lagnieu in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region. This project obtained a subsidy from ADEME to the tune of € 2,3 million (cf. press release of March 12, 2021).
The third project is still under examination by ADEME.
These first three files therefore remain fully relevant.
The fourth project was not accepted by ADEME, it could be abandoned or modified and in this case, be the subject of a new submission at the next call for projects session of ADEME opened on 11 March and closed on May 17, Enertime plans to submit several new files for this next session, again through its subsidiary Energie Circulaire.
Given the success of the initiative and the current strong momentum around its technologies, Enertime does not exclude being entrusted, as an equipment supplier, with the realization of ORC projects selected within the framework of the Call. projects but of which Energie Circulaire would not have been the bearer. This eventuality would give concrete expression to the French Government's desire to develop a strategic industrial sector based on technologies for recovering industrial waste heat.
Gilles David, CEO of ENERTIME, declares: “ The recovery of energy lost in industrial processes is at the heart of Enertime's strategy. Our goal is to become, thanks to these projects, a benchmark player in France and on the global industrial energy efficiency market, in particular for the design, manufacture and implementation of new generation and high-performance thermodynamic machines. power. Our offer, combining industrial ORC and Heat Pump modules, including on a third-party-funded model, comes at the right time to decarbonize European industry and make it sustainable despite the inevitable increase in the price of energy. »
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE INDUSEE CALL FOR PROJECTS
The France Relance Plan aims to accelerate the ecological conversion of the French economy and its productive fabric. The French government has allocated 1,2 billion euros in subsidies by 2022 to improve energy efficiency, develop manufacturing processes and decarbonize heat production in French industry. The IndusEE call for projects was launched by ADEME within the framework of this Plan. This call for projects and two other similar consultations benefit from a budget of 200 million euros which will be allocated no later than the first quarter of 2021. A second wave of this call for projects is scheduled for 2021. Information is available on the ADEME website https://www.ademe.fr/decarbonation-lindustrie
