Unlisted ESG report 2022/23, our action for the sustainable transformation of companies
For more than 20 years, NextStage AM's ESG commitment has been seen above all as that of a team invested in serving talented entrepreneurs at the head of SMEs and mid-sized companies with their teams; and which – being at the heart of major environmental and societal challenges – build real levers of transformation with a view to creating sustainable value.
As responsible investor-entrepreneurs, we are committed to them and share all their responsibilities. Our ESG ambition has been based and nourished on this DNA of responsibility in a logic of progress and permanent strengthening for 20 years at NextStage AM; but also took a new step in 2022 with the arrival of Laëtitia Challan Belval, chief impact officer, who strengthens our expertise in operational support for our entrepreneurs in defining ESG objectives and action plans to measure the progression of their impact trajectory.
We also conducted for the first time in 2022 a systemic analysis on our portfolio on climate-related risks and opportunities, as well as the dependencies and impacts of our companies on the erosion of biodiversity. We share the conviction that the health of ecosystems is crucial with more than half of the world's GDP depending on it, and it is our responsibility as committed entrepreneurs-investors to support companies in reducing their impacts.
In the coming months, we will continue to support entrepreneurs in territories who provide solutions to our current social and environmental challenges, as reflected in our latest investments in 2023 in the energy transition, education and fair fashion.
We are very pleased to present our 2022/23 annual report to you in order to transparently communicate to you our progress, our ambition and our shared challenges for the years to come.
