Set up in 1987, Micropole is an IT services company specialized in the integration of e-business and business intelligence solutions.
The company focuses on three main business lines: e-business (set-up of portals, EAI, intranet/extranet, mobile internet); business intelligence (integration of reporting, consolidation, and budgeting tools); and ERP (SAP integration and training).
Services include technical advice, project management assistance, integration, and application management, and are generated 45% on a fixed-rate basis (commitment on the project price and implementation time) and 55% on the basis of staff secondment times.
The client base of Micropole is composed entirely of large companies: banks (24%), telecoms (18%), industrials (17%), governments (11%), retail and distribution (10%), and insurance (10%).
The company is present in France, Switzerland, Belgium, and China.
In 2013, the company generated revenue of €111.6 million and net income of €1.3 million.

A graduate of the University of Paris-Dauphine and holder of an Executive MBA HEC, Christian Poyau was from 1985 to 1988, successively a consultant at DELOITTE, then a senior consultant at PEAT MARWICK. In 1987, he co-founded Micropole with Thierry Letoffé.
He was President of CroissancePlus from December 2001 to June 2004. He is currently President of the Fondation Croissance Responsable and Director of the collège Conseil et Services informatiques du Syntec Numérique.
Holder of a DEST in Computer Science and a postgraduate degree in ICG management, he began his career at Dassault Electronique in 1982, integrating a research laboratory in the Autodirector Division (real time software, embedded systems, computers…).
In 1987, he co-founded Micropole with Christian Poyau and is currently its operational director.
